Montlake Chess Club
Chess
Club is back at Montlake! The meetings
will be held between 3:30pm-4:30pm on Mondays when school is in session
through May 2010.
We will meet in Room 9 again this year.
New and returning students (Teams 2 and 3) are welcome who understand the
basic chess moves. An instructor from The Chess Mates Foundation
teaches strategy and provides guidance during game time. The kids
really looked like they had a lot of fun last year!
There
is limited space so please return your Registration form (download here) quickly to the Chess box in the school office if you are interested in
signing up again. Checks can be made out to Chess Mates Foundation.
