To the Families of Team III Students:
It is time to start preparing for the
annual Team III outdoor education project! The Montlake staff has made
arrangements for all fourth and fifth graders to attend a four-day
camping experience. We believe that it offers excellent educational
opportunities in the best possible environment.
Like last year, we will go to camp in the fall. We are taking the
opportunity to begin the year with an engaging team-building even. It
will benefit the students and staff by having this special time together
at the beginning of the year. Connections and friendships will be
forged and will continue to grow throughout the year. This event is
vital element in our curriculum and will be an unforgettable part of
your child's education at Montlake.
We would like to let you know in advance that the cost of camp will be
between $240 and $275 per student. The camp fee covers four days and
three nights at camp, a full educational program, and nine meals, and
three snacks. It also pays for the counselors buses, luggage truck
rental, ferry fare, and other camp supplies. There will be an
informational packet sent home with your child in the first week of
September when school resumes.
Sincerely,
Corinne Grandbois

| | Introduction Welcome to Room 4! This is my third year at Montlake, and my first year as part of Team 3.
Previously, I taught 2nd grade basic skills and PE. I am excited about
this year and am looking forward to teaching 4th grade math! When I am
not teaching, I enjoy cooking, camping and reading. I also have two
cats, Sonny and Gwennie. | |
