Introduction
Hi- This is my second year here at Montlake. Last year, I taught P.E. in the gym. I had a great time helping students learn about health, how their bodies work, and how to be active.  This year I am the kindergarten teacher in P2. I am very excited about this year and all the wonderful learning that will happen in P2. I have lived in the Seattle area for the last 10 years. I graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a degree in Exercise Science. I then went on to get my masters degree in K-8 education. I have a love for learning and working with children. I look forward to learning with P2 students this year.

Philosophy

I feel it is important to create a positive environment where students feel comfortable to learn and grow. I feel this environment can be built through students learning and working together as a team. It is important for every member in P2 to feel like they belong and love coming to school.

Come visit!

In P2 we are an open classroom. Come on in and see what is happening in P2! You are always welcome. I also appreciate volunteers and would love for anyone who feels they have some extra time to come on in and help. Thanks in advance.
