Pay For K 2009-2010Kindergarten Full Day Tuition Agreement
Policies- The full day kindergarten fees will be $2000 per year and will be payable in ten monthly installments of $200 beginning on Wednesday, August 5, 2009. This initial August payment will be applied to the June 2010 tuition. No fees will be paid for June or July.
- All payments are due on or before the 5th of each month, with the second payment due on Saturday, September 5, 2009. If you should experience financial hardship midyear, contact the coordinator.
- If you prefer to pay the entire tuition on August 5, 2009, a discount of 5% ($100) will apply, decreasing the full year's tuition required to $1,900.
Pro-ration of fees at the time of enrollment/withdrawal will be as follows:
- Enrollment:
- Enrollment date 1st through the 15th = full monthly fee
- Enrollment date 16th through the end of the month = half monthly fee
- Withdrawal:
- Withdrawal date 1st through the 15th = half monthly fee
- Withdrawal date 16th through the end of the month = full monthly fee
- Fee credit is not granted for temporary absences/vacations
Additional Information- To save expense, no billing statements will be mailed. Reminders are sent via school folders.
- Acceptable forms of payment include cash or checks made payable to Seattle School District.
- Please mail payment to the Montlake address (2409-22nd Ave. E., Seattle 98112) or bring payment directly to the DROP BOX in the main office.
- Maurine Forbes, Kindergarten Coordinator, will collect checks and issue receipts.
- A $20 late fee will be charged if payment is not received by the 15th of each month. Payments not received by he 15th are handled as follows:
- A two week (14 day) late payment notice will be sent home
- One or more months in arrears will result in a conference with Claudia Allan, principal.
- All account questions should be directed to Montlake Main Office at (206) 252-3300 between 9am and 1pm, Monday through Friday. The full day program is not associated with the other childcare programs, including our on-site CDSA. Your account is no way related to any other account in the District.
