Ms. Cheryl Manor, Counselor

Dear Families of Montlake Elementary,

I am your new School Counselor Cheryl Manor.  I have worked for the past 4 years as a School Counselor.  Prior to that I had worked for a counseling agency for 11 years as a Child and Family Therapist, and worked in several Seattle Public Schools. My philosophy is that all children can learn they just need someone to help them discover the tools needed to succeed.

I am here to serve our students, families, and school community in the areas of academics, social skills, and emotional well-being.  I will do my best to offer the necessary assistance to you in an effort to help our students succeed.

My office hours are all day Tuesday & Friday. Please feel free to contact me at (206) 252-3302 or via email:   cmmanor@seattleschools.org  I look forward to meeting and working with you.

Cheryl Manor

Montlake Counselor

Ms. Julie Marzluf, Speech/Language Pathologist (Mon./Thurs)

Your child can get help becoming a better communicator!  I work with children who have problems producing clear speech, meaning the actual production of sounds, such as articulation of speech sounds or stuttering.  I can also assist students having language difficulties, such as problems understanding or putting words together to communicate ideas.  Other communication needs can also be identified, such as social skill deficits that are related to not understanding the rules of conversation, or support for children with hearing impairments.  If you think your child has a problem communicating, please contact me and we can decide if we want to consider speech services for your child.

My email address is:  jamarzluf@seattleschools.org

Ms. Rhian Lombard, Nurse (Mon.)
