2010-2011 Dates to Know
8/26: Core class teachers will be posted on the main entrance (NE Door) at 4pm
9/7: Mini-Open House @11am-12pm. Teachers will be in their classrooms to greet you and your children. All families welcome!
9/8: First Day of School
- 9:10am - Students report to their classrooms
- 9:10am - PTA Parent Reception in the Gym. Parents, please join us for PTA-sponsored Welcome & Coffee - look for volunteer sign-up sheets!
- 9:45-10:30am - Grand Opening in Garden Courtyard. School-wide assembly that kicks-off the year. Come hear Ms. Allan and get introduced to the teachers!
- 10:30-10:45am - Tour Montlake with Principal, Claudia Allan, for those interested
- Supply List will be posted shortly
- School starts at 9:10am and ends at 3:20pm (more info on our FAQ page)
9/29: Curriculum Night for Teams 2 and 3
9/30: Curriculum Night for Team 1
10/12-10/15: Team 3 Camp
12/20-12/31: Winter break
2/21-2/25: Mid-Winter break
4/18-4/22: Spring Break

News! 1. Before and after-school program, CDSA Montlake
Hours of operation on regular school days: 7am-9:10am, 3:20pm-6pm

2. Lunch
On the first day of school, students may buy breakfast for $1.25 and/or
lunch for $2.25 which includes milk. Milk only is $0.50. More info:

3. Unload & Loading ZoneYou may drop your student off on E. Calhoun if you travel eastbound. You may also drop your students off in front of the school on 22nd Ave. E. Please DO NOT drop students off or pick them up in the bus zone on E. McGraw. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter!
4. Bus assignments Bus assignments will be delivered over Labor Day Weenend

5. Early Dismissal Day Schedule for 2010-2011
- 9/29, 10/27, 2/2, 3/2, 5/18
Students will be released at 1:10pm so that teachers can participate in professional development activities. Please be available to pick up or make arrangements to have your child picked up at 1:10pm on these days.
Reminders:* Please submit the Website photo permission form to the Office in Sept. 2010
* Field Trips chaperons, please consider taking pictures and submitting a story
